Type & Signal LLC is an independent North Carolina software and consulting company founded by Matt Parker.

Matt has managed Macs since 1997 across higher education, financial services, and technology organizations. His work sits between endpoint administration and software engineering: managing Apple platforms, building automation and internal tools, connecting operational systems, and putting safe review and deployment practices around production changes.

Type & Signal creates focused tools such as Spectrapress and helps IT teams improve Apple fleet management, automation, integrations, security, and change control. The goal is straightforward: reliable systems that are documented, maintainable, and safe for someone other than their original author to operate.
